Schools to Festival programme

With the support of the Toi Foundation, New Plymouth District Council, CNZ and Tranzit, Spiegel Fest offers students throughout Taranaki the opportunity to experience the magic of two live performances in the unique Spiegeltent environment.

The Artist

The Artist is the latest and greatest show from Thom Monkton, an international circus sensation and a local success story. Originally hailing from Patea, South Taranaki, Thom has succeeded worldwide.

The Artist is a hilarious story without words for comedy lovers, pranksters, and the struggling artiste in all of us. Bursting with hysterical clowning, acrobatics and hijinks, this exceptional storytelling feat has wowed audiences worldwide for a reason.

Recommended ages 7+

The Listies

The Listies come directly from Australia! A bonkers sketch comedy extravaganza of epic proportions made just for kids. Jam-packed with magically stupid stuff like toilet paper cannons, a real-life cowasaurus, and the kind of madness that only the award-winning maestros of kidults comedy can make. Be prepared. The Listies may have you rolling on the floor laughing!

 Recommended ages 4+

KEEP ARTS THRIVING

The Taranaki Arts Festival Trust believes we are responsible for giving as many school children as possible access to performing arts. Exposure to arts and culture has many positive effects on the community’s well-being and the future of our next generation.

Over the last 30 years, our Schools Programme has given thousands of school children the opportunity to experience the arts who may not otherwise be able to.

Pay It Forward, Keep Arts Thriving invites you to purchase a ticket to create an opportunity for a Taranaki school child to experience a live performing art show right here in our community.

Your $5 donation goes a long way to ensure Arts Thrive Here for the next 30 years.
