Jamie Bowen: It Happened Then, Now

Jamie Bowen witnessed a moment in time. A little girl eating a sandwich. This singular event opened a world of existential exploration for him.

In this part stand up, part interview show Jaime recounts the story of the little girl with all the glorious details followed by an interview where Jamie and his special guest Patrick Gower delve into a philosophical chat. Jokes peppered throughout, of course!

Two-time Fred Award nominee and two-time winner of NZ Comedy Guild Best Live Show award, Jamie has been performing comedy for over 18 years. He’s even been on the TV: 7 Days, the Gala, and AotearoHA, so you’re in safe hands here.

It Happened Then, Now is comedy for the heart, soul and also the head.

Newshub’s National Correspondent Patrick Gower, who recently broke free of his journalistic duties to smoke marijuana on camera in his latest documentary Patrick Gower: On Weed, joins Jamie Bowen on stage.

Patrick, who was previously Newshub's Political Editor, has been a journalist for 20 years, breaking stories of national significance and covering stories in Iraq, Afghanistan and on the US presidential election campaign trail.

Expect an unscripted, honest interview!
