Taranaki Sings

Take a stroll through central New Plymouth with a band of local musicians to accompany you.

Seven choirs come together in this joyful community project, taking the songs of Taranaki – songs they’ve co-written with modern-day troubadour Julian Raphael – to the city’s streets. Put a spring in your step and a song in your heart, and join in for the finale of the open-air music-making this Spiegel Fest.

Choirs will perform individually and come together for the Grand Finale. We invite you to join us in cacophonous song under Taranaki skies.
