*This event was originally scheduled for Saturday, 12 November - due to weather conditions it will go ahead on Sunday, 13 November*
Take a stroll through central New Plymouth with a band of local musicians to accompany you.
Seven choirs come together in this joyful community project, taking the songs of Taranaki – songs they’ve co-written with modern-day troubadour Julian Raphael – to the city’s streets. Put a spring in your step and a song in your heart, and join in for the finale of the open-air music-making this Spiegel Fest.
Choirs will perform individually and come together for the Grand Finale. We invite you to join us in cacophonous song under Taranaki skies.
Participating choirs include:
City Sounds
Taranaki Male Choir
Living Harmony
Ars Nova and Taranaki Singing Venture
Taranaki Children’s Choir
Te Kura Kaupapa Māori o Te Pi’ipi’inga Kākano Mai i Rangiātea
