One of New Zealand’s best joke writers is back behind the wheel with Daddy Short-Legs, a new hour of stand-up about the colossal life revelations that take place in the shittiest cars.

Eli is almost old enough to be a “daddy”, but his father is about to steal some of his thunder.

Daddy Short-Legs was crowned the winner of the 2021 Fred Award, honouring the best show at the annual New Zealand International Comedy Festival; Eli is also a host of The Edge Breakfast and the former Head Writer of Have You Been Paying Attention? He’s recently returned from performing the show at the prestigious Edinburgh Fringe.
